The Q&A Archives: Weather Stick

Question: Called the Woodsman's weatherstick, a small branch hung outside will bend down to foretell foul weather and bend up to foretell fair weather. Do you know the name?

Answer: I can't vouch for the accuracy of the readings, but Abrus precatorius is called the Poorman's Weatherglass.<br>It's more of a vine than a branch, but hung outdoors it will react to the humidity and changes in air pressure by changing angles.
