I finally have got my lawn and flower bed to look decent this winter and now I have another problem. I caught a squirrel making holes in my lawn and now every morning I find new fist size holes in various locations. I don't know if they are burying food for later, or digging up previously hidden food. But they are making my lawn look very ugly. For some reason they leave the neighboring lawns alone. I think their soils are a little harder then mine is since I have newer grass and topsoil. Is there anything I can do to evict this guest permanently??

Jourdain,

There is not a good solution other than something that makes them afraid of coming onto your property. A good fox terrier with lots of energy can do the job! Seriously, there just is no product that you can apply to such a large area to deter squirrels.
