The Q&A Archives: pruning standard marguerite

Question: How and when do I prune this plant?

Answer: Springtime and then periodically throughout the summer are the best times to prune your marguerite to keep it looking neat and tidy. This spring cut it back by about one-third; then as the flowers fade, cut them off along with some of the stem. Cutting the stem back will encourage the formation of additional flowering stems.

Best wishes with your garden!
