Have a Queen palm and there is a new sprout coming through up the middle of the tree - but it is causing a cluster of other fronds to be pushed sideways. These fronds are all packed in a cluster and are almost pointing perfectly sideways. Just wanted to know if the tree is to be left alone, or if this situation needs some attention. Thanks! |
What you describe sounds like a natural growth pattern for a Queen Palm. Although it looks awkward now, the new growth will eventually elongate and stop crowding the existing fronds. I'd leave it alone and allow it to develop naturally. |
