Have a Queen palm and there is a new sprout coming through up the middle of the tree - but it is causing a cluster of other fronds to be pushed sideways. These fronds are all packed in a cluster and are almost pointing perfectly sideways.

Just wanted to know if the tree is to be left alone, or if this situation needs some attention.

Thanks!

What you describe sounds like a natural growth pattern for a Queen Palm. Although it looks awkward now, the new growth will eventually elongate and stop crowding the existing fronds. I'd leave it alone and allow it to develop naturally.
