The Q&A Archives: poison

Question: Is chindo sweet viburnum a poisounus plant? We'll like to buy some for privacy at the local nursery.
Thank you

Answer: Chindo sweet viburnum is not listed in any of my references as being poisonous, however, I'd avoid eating the berries these shrubs produce. Birds love the berries but they are not considered edible for humans. Viburnums make excellent screening hedges.
