What do you recommend for fertilizer on Avacado, Key Lime , and Bougainvilla trees?

In most cases a standard turf type fertilizer with a 3-1-2 or 4-1-2 ratio of the three numbers works fine. If you have your soil tested you can know for sure if any of the nutrients is especially low or high already, but in the absence of such a test choose a fertilizer as mentioned above. Give the Avocado and Key Limes a half cup per 5ft by 5ft area in early spring and early summer. The bougainvillea may do better with less unless you feel it is really struggling and lacking in color and vigor.
