| Billy, I assume the plant you are referring to is the one seen on this web page: http://www.monrovia.com/PlantI... The plant's early spring show is quite ornamental so although some late winter pruning is fine you don't want to do too much as it detracts from the spring show. I suggest some moderate trimming here and there in late spring following the spring show and on though about mid summer. That way you won't have to do much in the late winter.
