My peony is at least 4 years old and has never bloomed. It looks healthy, is on the east side of house, and gets plenty of sunshine.

Peonies bloom well only when they experience a pronounced winter chill. They are reluctant to flower when spring days are hot and dry. You may need to provide some afternoon shade and water more frequently when temperatures rise.

Maybe this will be the year it blooms!
