I am a first time vegetable gardener. When do I plant which vegetables? How do I know when the frost free date is?

The average last frost date for your area is about April 15th. You can plant cool-season veggies like peas, lettuce, cabbage, broccoli and green beans about the middle of March. Warm-season veggies like peppers, tomatoes and corn won't like cold soils, so start your seeds indoors and transplant the seedlings into the garden about mid-May.
