I purchased a Meyer Improved Lemon Tree for my home and there are little black bugs all over it. What can I do to get rid of them? I noticed the tree is beginning to bud.

Brenda,

I can't tell which insect that is from your description. I suggest you first try blasting the bugs off with a hard spray of water outdoors. If this doesn't work try an insecticidal soap spray. Follow the label carefully. If this is not successful take a sample of the insects to your County Extension Office for specific identification and control recommendations.
