I have a oversized planter that I want to plant Italian Cypress' in. It gets full morning sun until about noon. Will this be enough sun for these trees?

Michelle,

It will probably be enough although the foliage may end up being a little less dense. However if the tree is only getting good light on one side it will likely grow toward that direction making it lopsided. Turning the plant every week or so may help but is probably not practical.
