We recently bought a bansai calamondin manderin orange tree and it soon began to lose all of it's leaves. We have since placed it outdoors to see if it would fare better. The leaves have not grown back, however it is still bearing fruit.

Our question is, can the plant be saved and if so, how?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Jaime Angeles

Jaime,

With the return of warm weather, adequate soil moisture (not too wet) and periodic fertilizing with a soluble product such as Miracle Gro it should start to releaf and be fine in a few weeks. Try to prevent soil moisture extremes, either soggy wet or too dry as both can bring big problems for your citrus plant.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
