I have a red passion flower, I want to transplant it, what type of soil and when is the best time of year to transplant. Does it only flower in the summer if it is a houseplant?

Use a good quality potting mix with excellent drainage. Find one that includes pumice if possible, or buy pumice and add it to the mix. Perlite and vermiculite are more commonly found in potting mixes, and they also aid drainage. Pumice retains water and releases it into the soil, helping maintain a more consistent soil moisture. Repot in spring just before new growth starts, which will help it overcome transplant shock. Passion vines typically need warm weather to flower.
