I would like to plant a row of mystery gardenias as hedges in my yard. How far apart should I space them? I am want them to look full, but am afraid of planting them too close together due to the fact that they can grow so much. Thanks!

Melissa,

Mystery gardenia is a fast grower to 5 feet tall, 3 feet wide. I suggest a 2 1/2 foot spacing as that way you will get a full hedge and won't have to wait long either.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
