I have a bouquet of tropical cut flowers. Some of the flowers include, protea, bird of paradise, and a cut ginger plant (beautiful maroon pinapple looking erect flower). I would like to know if I can put any of these in water and grow roots, so that I can continue growing them in my yard. Is there any way that these plants can live beyond the bouquet? thanks! |
Brooke, No they probably won't be able to root. Your best bet is to buy a plant to grow your own flowers. The bird of paradise and various types of gingers will grow in your area. You will need to protect the bird of paradise over winter. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
