How are colocasia bulbs divided.

George,

Colocasias are actually corms rather than bulbs. Yet they are divided in a similar fashion. Dig up the clump and look for small corms attached to the larger "mother" corm. Carefully separate these from each other in late winter or early spring and replant them. They should be well rooted and growing again when warm weather returns.
