Camellia - Knowledgebase Question

My boss' plant is blossoming beautifully. However, they are starting to fall off rapidly and the plant doesn't look quite as healthy as when it first arrived at his office. (it's potted) Besides water and filtered sun what else can I do to help this plant?

These plants actually do better in a cool greenhouse or conservatory situation than as an indoor "house plant." Probably the most important thing is to move it to a cooler location, these plants need it to be in about the 55 degree range or a bit less while blooming. Also, do not overwater it, camellias actually do not need a terribly moist soil. Slightly moist, water as needed, but check the soil with your finger to see if you need to water. Also, it may be going through some adjustment period due to being moved, if he received it only recently. Good luck with the camellia!
