When can I plant nandina's in southeastern VA?

You can successfully plant nandina's any time the ground is not frozen. The best times to plant are spring or fall because the temperatures are usually mild and rainfall abundant. Cool temperatures and ample moisture help the roots become well established. Best wishes with your new nandina.
