I started tomato seeds under grow lights in December. They are now 10 inches and starting to bloom. Its another six weeks before transplanting. What can I do to slow them down? Should I pinch off the blooms? I did stop the Miracle Grow applications. Thanks, J Cook

Joel,

I am sorry for this delayed reply to your gardening question. The spring rush has brought a deluge of questions and we are working hard to catch up!

I suggest moving them outdoors for anytime of the day when temperatures are 40 degrees or more. That will slow them down. You can pinch blooms if you want. I might also consider moving the tomatoes up to a larger container for even better plants at planting time.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
