My jasmine has been wintering indoors and has been afflicted with scale. I treated it with alcohol/soap/water spray. Now it's losing alot of leaves. Is there anything I can do?
Thanks
PS It looks alot worse since I treated it.

Rita,

Sometimes soapy water can burn plants. I suggest you consider taking it outdoors in spring and treating with a systemic product labeled for scale. Your County Extension Office can make such a product recommendation. I will add however that scale can be difficult to erradicate and often the best option is to throw away the old plant and get a new one. That may be the best choice for your time and money spent.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
