what is the proper method to start chile plants from seeds that i have from several different chile peppers?

Aureliaso,

Plant them 1/4 inch deep in fresh potting mix and keep the mix moist until they sprout. They need warm conditions to sprout so you may want to put the seeds on top of the refrigerator checking them daily and moving them to a bright area near a window after they sprout. Fertilize the new seedlings with a very dilute solution of soluble fertilizer such as Miracle Gro.
