What is the best time to plant dichondra plugs in this San Diego area for them to flourish and spread?

Dichondra plugs establish fastest when installed in the early spring. Prepare the area by removing all weeds and raking smooth. After planting the plugs, keep them well watered. The roots will establish in 2-4 weeks and you should see new growth in 4-5 weeks.
