The Q&A Archives: Haas avacado

Question: In the month of February/march is it best to keep the fruit on the tree or pick the fruit off so the flowers can mature for the next crop.thank you

Answer: The fruit on your tree should be ripe in mid-February and can be harvested from mid-February through March. Like citrus trees, it won't hurt to have both mature fruit and blossoms on the same branch at the same time, but you will want to harvest the mature fruit before it spoils. Hope this answers your question!
