Do you have an existing Bermuda grass lawn? Did you overseed it with winter ryegrass, or just let the Bermuda go dormant last fall? Bermuda, assuming it was healthy last fall, doesn't usually need to be reseeded. It comes back when temperatures warm later this spring. If the grass is gone in patches and you do need to reseed, it's essential to prepare the soil first.
