The Q&A Archives: bugambilia

Question: Can I grow bugambilia in zone 6 (pennsylvania)?

Answer: Bougainvillea can be grown in Pennsylvania as a large patio container plant, you would need to set outside during the summer and bring it indoors each winter. It is only hardy to zone 10 (think Florida or southern California) so it is not able to survive much cold at all.
