flowering plant that grows in the shade - Knowledgebase Question

I would like to plant some flowers close to my house under the windows and there is full shade in this spot all day. What can I plant there that will grow and inhance the look of the house?

Liz,

Perennial Flowers - Butterfly ginger (Hedychium), Mexican Petunia (Ruellia), Creeping Phlox (Phlox stolonifera), and Chinese Ground Orchid (Bletilla striata).

Annual Flowers - Coleus, Impatiens, Wishbone Flower (Tithonia), Flowering Tobacco (Nicotiana), and Begonia.
