Do campsis vines grow well in California? Also, is there any species of campsis that loses all its foliage during the winter? Or is there a vine similar to campsis that loses all its foliage during the winter? Thank you |
Campsis radicans, the trumpet creeper, does grow well in California. There are are several other vines you might consider: red morning glory (Ipomoea coccinea) is an annual; cross vine (Bignonia capreolata) semi-evergreen; cypress vine (Ipomoea quamoclit) and trumpet honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens) semi-evergreen. |
