When can I trim my mimosa tree? - Knowledgebase Question

I have a rather large mimosa tree. I would like to trim it but I'm nor sure of the right time to do this. Can you help me?

Cindy,

Now is a good time while it is still dormant. If you wait until early spring it will tend to weep sap from the cut ends which is not life threatening but it's better to get it done now.
