Hello,

I live in San Jose, CA. I was wondering if you could tell me what zone I am considered to be in (Sunset zone, etc)? I also am looking to find information on when to plant certain annuals....is there such information readily available that you can send my way or point me to a place on the web?

Thanks a lot!

Debbie

You are in USDA zone 8B and Sunset zone 15. You can find plant suitable for your area by visiting the following website hosted by National Gardening:

http://garden.org/plantfinder/...

Planting dates vary, depending upon what you're planting but the last frost date for your area is about mid-March. So, you can plant most anything in the middle of March.

The San Jose Master Gardeners have a website filled with information. Visit http://www.mastergardeners.org... for gardening advice of all kinds.

Best wishes with your garden!
