WHAT IS WRONG WHEN THE LEAVES OF A RUBBER PLANT TURN BROWN AND DIE.

That could be due to several things. The soil moisture level is the most likely cause. Too dry and roots die followed by drying of the top. Too wet and the roots cannot get oxygen and start to die also. The top soon follows. Fertilizer can burn roots if you apply too much at one time. The symptoms usually show up as burn of the tips and edges of the leaves but the entire leaf can also be affected.
