I love the SAMBACUS NIGRA 'Gerda'and want to plant it in my yard. But I need to know if it might be deer resistant, or I will be wasting my time and money? I realize it's difficult to say anything is deer proof, but I wonder if this might be one that they don't prefer (?)
Also, how do deer feel about viburnums?
Your question section is so very helpful for me. Thank you!

Glad you find the website helpful! Sambucus nigra 'Gerda' is highly deer-resistant. They will eat it if there's nothing else available, but they generally leave it alone. The two viburnums deer tend to ignore are Viburnum carlesii and Viburnum plicatum. Best wishes with your garden!
