I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHAT THE BEST FERTILIZER AND PH LEVEL IS FOR MY JAPANESE MAPLES IN DALLAS, TEXAS. |
Helen, Japanese maples love a soil that has some peat moss or composted pine bark added and is neutral to slightly acidic. They like some moisture in the soil but need good drainage. Plant them where they can get a little morning sun but have afternoon shade. Fertilize with a product for acid loving plants such as azalea/camellia food. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
