The Q&A Archives: clover and wild onions have taken over my lawn

Question: I live in Norcross, GA. and clover has taken over my lawn. I have 3/4 of an acre. It is so bad I feel like my house sits on a cow pasture. I also have problems with wild onions. What little grass I have is a mixture of fescue, and centipede. Please advice. Thank you

Answer: Susan,

Those two weeds are controlled by different products and different timing. Let me suggest you contact your County Extension Office (750 South Perry Street, Suite 400
Lawrenceville, GA 30045-4804; phone 678-377-4010). They can assist by recommending an appropriate, labeled spray product and guiding you on the proper timing.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
