I am placing this tree in a design for a client in the Atlanta area (zone 7B). Pike's nursery carries this but cannot tell me much more about it. Is it succeptable to blight?
Thanks,
Krista

Krista,

Despite the fact that horse chestnut has a name similar to chestnut it is a very different and unrelated genus and species. It is not at all susceptible to chestnut blight.
