We purchase a twisty baby 2 years ago at Lowes it had your Monrovia sticker. It said that it was a small tree. We have a small back yard and it is close to the house. It is taller than 15 ft. and I am concern about it roots system, they stretch about 6 feet away from the trunk of the tree. Would the roots hurt the foundation? Should we transplant it to a bigger location?

Zela,

If it is at least 8-10 feet from the house there should be no problem. It may be that it could even be closer as the roots don't get that large in diameter out near the edge of the branchspread.

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
