Indoors, ficus or fig trees need bright indirect light, ample humidity, and average household temperatures. Protect from hot and cold drafts. Fertilize with a water soluble fertilizer formulated for foliage houseplants from spring to fall. Water as needed to keep the soil slightly moist, not saturated. They tend to need an adjustment period any time they are moved from one location to another and may drop foliage if moved. These trees can be very long lived if "happy" in their location. I hope this helps.
