The Q&A Archives: Hybergennia(sp?) Hibergennia (sp?)

Question: Do you carry a plant native to Australia called Hybergennia (sp?) It grows quickly, can be trained on a trellis and produces clusters of small purple flowers? IF you do not carry this plant do you know what I am talking about? My mother lives in Calif. and has been able to locate this plant at a local nursery.

Answer: Christina,

I am not familiar with a plant by one of those names. I also searched but could not find any plant with a name anywhere near that in Monrovia's database of plants. If you can come up with a more accurate name or an alternate name and submit another question to the Monrovia website I'd be happy to try again.

Could your mystery plant be Hyacinth bean (Dolichos lablab)?

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
