I have seen lots of discussion on line regarding the need for a pollinator to ensure that a Winterthur Viburnum will produce fruit. Is this correct and what is the appropriate pollinator, please? Thanks. Joe Sabol |
This plant may be technically able to fruit without a pollen source, however the fruit set is sparse that way. An appropriate pollen source would be any V. nudum except another "Wintertur". This could be either the straight species, or another named variety or cultivar. Try to plant it in the same microclimate so they bloom simultaneously. This is a great viburnum, enjoy! |
