| Marcia, In a container the roots are more restricted and they will be smaller than 6'. However I don't think it would be practical to try and keep them at 2-3'. Such pruning would remove too much growth and dramatically reduce blooming. Also 1 in a 31" pot is plenty. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
