I recently purchased a trinette schefflera plant that is potted in my house. I recently got a new puppy. How can I find out if the leaves of the plant are poiseness to him?

The best thing to do is to keep the two separated and to call your veterinarian for advice. I should mention that even if it is not poisonous, the playful chewing and batting will damage the plant so you may not want to allow the puppy to play with it. Also, the puppy stage lasts quite a while so you need to develop strategies for keeping the puppy happily (and safely) occupied without damaging things in your home. Your veterinarian should have suggestions for that, too. Enjoy your puppy!
