| I have recently bought some otto luyken and the leaves have small holes in them and some limbs the leaves are falling off. How do I stop this from occurring? |
| John, I suspect that the two symptoms may not be related. The holes are most likely caused by a small beetle. The falling leaves indicate transplant shock and or drought stress which is sometimes brought in by root injury prior to or during the planting process. Try to keep the soil moist but not soggy wet. This will give the plant the best chance of recovering and starting to produce new growth which is necessary for the plant's long term survival. Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon! |
