Trimming Dwarf Fountain Grass - Knowledgebase Question

I planted your dwarf fountain grass in the fall. Am I suppose to trim it in the spring so it will bloom?

Clumping grasses don't have to be cut back, but they usually look less rangy and are rejuvenated if cut back to about 6 inches above the ground in early spring, just before new growth starts. If you planted it just last fall, it may not need cutting back until next year.
