Other than morning glories, what are some of the fastest growing vines, one season coverage, 10 ft or more, from seed preferribly, annual & perennial, that will perform in Carson City's late spring planting season. |
Some fast growing vines that you can grow from seed in Nevada include scarlet runners beans, hyacinth beans, cardinal climber, tall trailing nasturiums, moonflowers (Ipomoea alba) and Mina lobata. They all require full sun, protection from the harsh summer winds, fertile soil, but not too much nitrogen or you'll get lots of green growth and little flowering and deep, even watering. If you can provide those conditions, all these plants should look great climbing in your garden. |
