I just bought Grace Ward Lithodora. It has blue flowers, but why are they starting to turn white? I have kept it moist and gave it a 20-20-20 fertilizer. Any ideas? Thanks!

Craig,

Lithodora is rated to heat zone 8 and you are on zone 9. It struggles in long hot, humid summers. Your plant may do better in an afternoon shade location. That said the weather has not been so hot lately. The flowers naturally turn lighter toward white as they age or in the heat. Watch the soil moisture as it doesn't want soggy conditions. Try an afternoon shade location to give it the best chance of surviving long term.
