IS IT OKAY TO DO BOTH DETACHING AND AERATION AT THIS TIME? PLEASE ADVISE.

Yes, you can dethatch and aerate at the same time. Usually you rake to dethatch and then rake to remove the debris. Then you aerate, leaving the plugs on the surface of the lawn. The plugs will decompose and return to the soil in a few weeks. Best wishes with your lawn.
