My builder for my new home laid bermuda sod (yuck, I know) late November of last year. It is still brown, and you can still pull it up by the squares. The only green is weeds! Is it dead? Is it worth even trying to plant a different type of lawn since all of our neighbors are bermuda?

Jennifer,

You can pull it up if you wish but I suspect it will return in time with the warming weather. You can also choose a different turf species but bermuda from an adjacent neighbor will likely invade. Sorry!

Thanks for the question. Please stop in again soon!
