| I am looking for a mowable contrasting grass to use as a border for a grass walking path. all of it needs to be mowed at the same length. | Although I do not remember that ad, you might be thinking of Iris moss/Scotch moss or Sagina subulata, sometimes also called Corsican Pearlwort. It grows one to two inches tall and would make a color contrast with normal lawn grass. You would probably need to separate it from the grass with an edger of some kind as the two would not stay distinctly separated without it. And, I suspect the grass would encroach on it. This is too short however to mow your grass to the same length, it would not be healthy for the grass to be that short in midsummer. You might discuss this project with your local nursery professionals and see what else they might suggest based on a more detailed understanding of your planting site and your design intent.
