planting and transplanting - Knowledgebase Question

It is April 8th in Swanton, OH and we just brought some Vicary Golden Privets is it to early to plant them and also where we want to plant them we want to remove and replant some lilies is it to early.

You can successfully plant and transplant as long as the ground is not frozen. Just be sure to water everything well after planting to help settle the soil and remove air pockets in the root area. If the ground is still frozen, wait a few weeks for things to warm up. Best wishes with your garden!
