The Q&A Archives: Bulbs

Question: How deep should lilly bulbs be planted?

Answer: The rule of thumb is to plant the bulb at a depth three times it height. So a bulb that is two inches tall would be planted with the base of the bulb six inches down. Make sure to loosen the soil deeper than that so the roots will be able to grown downward easily.
