I have recently purchased some loropetalum (plum delight) for my sister's house but I forgot to ask if they were deer resistant. Are they?

Raven,

They don't appear on any of my deer resistant plant lists so I'd consider them to not be resistant. The vast majority of trees and shrubs are not resistant. Placing a circle of mesh wire around the new shrubs will give them a good chance to get established.
